Making Space. ( My first proper post )

Hey Crunchers, I'm new here and although I worn watches for most of my life and owned more than one or two the entire time I'm fairly new to collecting them.

I'm currently trying to make space for something new in the lineup and having trouble choosing which watch should go.

I've narrowed it down to, both from the G Shock G Steel range. A GSTB300S-1ADR and a GSTB400CD-1A3DR (Green bezel and bracelet)

I love them both which is why I'm finding it tough to choose. I'm pretty sure this is common amongst you experienced collectors.

Which one would you let go?

Thanks in advance.

Welcome to the crunch 🤝

Welcome 👏

That is a real tough choice imo 🤔

The second hand and overall design of the 300 is nice but the 400 is smaller, thinner  and lighter; plus I do like a decent G-shock bracelet. I do not own either of these models however, so have no experience of wearing either of ‘em. How do they wear on your wrist re size and weight, is the 400 significantly more comfortable or do they wear equally well on you?

Decisions, decisions eh? 🤔

Also, if you “love them both” do you really HAVE to let one go? 😉

(😈Keep ‘em both 😂) I guess I’m personally leaning towards keeping the 400…

For someone who doesn't own either you make some very good points. Most of which I fully agree with and have considered. The seconds hand and overall design of the B300 are both big pros to me as are the thinness and the bracelet on the B400.

As for how they wear, I have an 8 inch wrist so they both wear well.

The one thing I haven't considered is keeping both lol, and now I'm actually thinking about it 🤣🤣🤣

So if you’re in the big wrist club (as am I) it’s tough to eliminate the 300 based on the wearability because as you say, both wear well 👍

Sorry if I’m encouraging you not to let go of either 🫣😂 I’ve only been into this crazy pastime for a couple of years and so far I’ve sold ”0” pieces…oh dear 😜

Welcome!

If it were my decision, the 400 would go. The 300 design just looks cleaner to me

·

hello, if i must choose i probably let 400 go

I would keep the green one and let the other go in the long run the colored ones will always sell better later on if you wish to sell it because they tend to be more in demand
