Which would you choose?
Need some advice. I have an opportunity to buy the Bulova Mil Ships at 20% below retail. Or should I wait to pre order the Tornek Rayville TR660 next month at twice the price?

I’d go with the TR. I think it’s a cooler watch with a cooler history (ignoring the fact that it was resurrected). And as a practical matter the lug width of the Bulova is just too narrow
I’d personally go for the TR. The Bulova strap is so narrow. The ratio is weird and it’s kinda goofy looking. They should have at least went with 18mm instead of 16mm. Ideally 20mm on a 41mm case. Just my opinion, though. Get whichever one you like best!

I was just thinking of those two due to brand heritage. Squale has a similar model, but I really like the history of the TR and I do like Bulova.
TR, for all the reasons listed and because they are affiliated with Bill Yao I believe of MKII fame. Way back when I first started perusing the interwebs for my first diver, I REALLY wanted a MKII blackwater or LRRP.
Another one to look at is the WMT hand drawn variant. Now hold on a sec, yes it's pricey, yes it has acrylic but the hand drawn and assembled portion is pretty unique and looks frickin awesome!
Definitely the Bulova.
Great package & the strip indicator (of moisture) is a point of difference. 👍
