How would you compare the Island diver and the SKX? Is it a worthy successor to the SKX or should I stick to Seiko divers to scratch that itch?
The Island watch seems check all the boxes in fixing the shortcomings of the SKX (manual wind, hacking, Sapphire crystal) but that damned logo is holding me back from buying one. That said, I hate the new Seiko 5 logo more so assume the 5KXs are not an option.

The only thing that bothered me is the blue ar coating hence I have changed the crystal. Islanders are fully skx compatible. If you get a dial, a local watch maker can fit it onto the islander fairly cheap and you have the best of both worlds than
