Speaking of a Graphic Designer watch...

Braun BN0035 Chronograph

This is a particular watch I came across that has received little attention. I have been unable to come across any YT reviews or discussions regarding this specific timepiece.

Eager as i obtain this because it holds a special meaning in my collection. For now, I would love to share about this since it holds a great significance for me.

Now I know most commonly heard or said this would be a boring, simple wall clock style or basic minimal dial. But that is just the beauty of it!

To me, this specific model reminds me of the good stuff when I applied the importance of art foundations during my college and tertiary studies.

I have a background in Graphic Design, as I have effectively worked on numerous research and module projects. Having a profound understanding of the art movement was a crucial aspect of my educational journey, in a matter of speaking.

I really felt the appreciation for the thoughtfully designed. The dial alignment of colors and typography that it plays out. The way it speaks to me is as if I was creating extensively a design for posters or marketing material.

Fascinated, as I love the idealism behind this German brand, which is rooted in Bauhaus Design. Design is not limited to just watches. Moreover, this concept expands beyond just one area.

Besides seeing this brand known for their electric razors, we can't ignore that it encompasses a wide array of products, including furniture and lifestyle appliances. This versatility makes it applicable in various fields and settings.

40mm Diameter

22mm Lug Width (A Strap Fits 18 mm inside)

44mm Lug to Lug

Positives:

• To conclude everything, I love the history of Braun and what they represent even in this particular timepiece.

• I personally prefer Bead-Blasted finished on my watches as this one is no exception.

Negatives:

• Cheapen out the quality of the strap that came with it. Over time, it actually disintegrated. I had to find and replace a Casio 18 mm rubber strap that perfectly aligns with the lugs.

• It came with the additional supplied rubber strap, but it just looks too wide, making it unwearable. A strap that tapers down is much better😫

• Would have preferred the mineral to Sapphire crystal. Why not?

Do I recommend it?

Yes! To me, this watch is not just attainable or merely designed for the love of Bauhaus watches. It is also suggest for the passionate Graphic Designer community, and that is what truly makes it special.
