Congratulations on your new Longines! What a beautiful sunburst dial! The induces are definitely light catchers and the red tipped seconds hand adds additional pop to the dial. Longines has really turned up the heat in the last couple of years! It's turning the corner on being an underappreciated brand. #longines

Totally. My wrist is 6.5" and there are not too many options, especially on Latin American markets where the preferred size is 40mm.

Indeed, Longines is really putting fire on the table. I had the chance to try the Longines Spirit Zulu time 39mm and oh men... I think that Longines wants to make serious competition to Tudor..

This watch is stunning

Funny, exactly like you; I was stuck between the BB58 and the Spirit 40mm on the blue dial. I just love that blue dial. I did buy the BB58 but I am still struggling to choose a size for this watch that will fit me. I have been looking at it for more than 1 year but I cannot come to terms with the long lugs on the 40mm and the bracelet. 37mm is too small and 42 is too big. I am going to try one final time the 40mm with the leather bracelet but I do not like what I see in pictures due to the long lungs on the 40mm. So unfortunate since I like the blue dial a lot.

Congratulations! The watch is beautiful. I actually picked up the same watch in blue for my grandfather’s Christmas present. Excited to see my grandfather’s face light up this Christmas. It’s such a stunning piece I now have it on my short list and might pick one up next year. Can’t decide if I want the champagne or the blue for my collection.

Your grandpa is very lucky! I have had this beauty for one month and couldn't ask for more! My advice will be yo got for the blue one 💯 champagne is insanely gorgeous but legibility is compromised. Anyways, you won't regret the decision.

Something that has happened to me with this watch is that is very subtle. The watch is not looking to loudly say to others what it is and it kinds of give you like that quite luxury feeling (vs. a Rolex or maybe an Omega). Only when you look it, you see that the watch is very well made.

Thanks for the heads up. Legibility is very important to me. I think blue is first on my list with black as a close second but I don’t think the black would be able to compete against my Explorer.

Subtle is perfect. Exactly my style. In reviews it is a bit underwhelming but in person and on the wrist the spirit 37 is stunning. And the quality caught me off guard
