I’ve always been interested in watches. Got more serious about three years ago. My grand prize so far is an Omega Aqua Terra 150m my wife picked out for my 50th birthday. Best. Gift. Ever. Most of my watches are modest priced. Timex, Seiko, Jack Mason Hamilton, Laco, Citizen. I love variety. I have a few vintage including a restored Tisso from 1947.
Purchased last night at a watch event at Moyer Fine Jewelers in Carmel, Indiana. Saw the light blue paving stone textured dial and had to have it. Fab...
I have a Garmin solar gps with all the features. Lately I find it unsatisfying for no good reason. Most of the time I either know my distance and pace...
I’m thinking about this Farer watch. Seems like a fun, colorful summer watch. I like that it comes with three straps. Anyone have a Farer? Is it a goo...
You can have both straps. I think you go with the strap that fits your reason for wearing it. If it’s going to be outdoors, rugged, then the green synthetic. If you are wearing it more as a casual dress watch then leather. Either way you can buy the other strap. To me the difference in the face is more important. Do you find one more legible and appealing?

I can go either way on the date complication. I have watches with and without. A blend of appearance and function is important. I hated the cyclops and then got one on a cheap coke colored diver by invicta and I love it. It makes the date legible at a glance. I only bought it because it was cheap, I liked the appearance, and it was on the smaller side of case size. Turns out the cyclops is one of reasons I like it.
