Yearly SOTC from the (less) cheap boi

Hello hello everyone, it's been a little more than a year since my last SOTC and things have changed since the last time. Watches have been sold, watches have been bought, I've found my preferred style of watch and have gone deeper into it. Sadly (for some of you) I've still got a lot of homages, but that means more silly names.

Alright let's get this party started, box numero uno:

Image

- The Seiko

- The Better Citizen

- The custom Subby

- The Muppet Subby (soon up for modding)

- The Invicta

- The Certina

- The Planet Lake

- The Pondmaster 200 (might sell idk yet)

- The Ploam

- The based frog

- The Galapagos

Onto box numéro deux:

Image

- The diver Casio

- The minor S****

- The Citizen

- The dressy Casio

Box number three:

Image

- The G-shock

- The square G-shock

- The yellow G-shock

- The trusty Casio

- The smol chrono

- The petroleum chrono

- The Timex GMT (might consider selling soon)

- The GMT

- The snooped

- The Accurist (might sell too)

And finally box Nummer vier :

So here concludes another year of amassing and selling, I really must force myself to cut it down to 36, but out of all those right now, I don't know which to sell to go down so much. And also I might add another 2 so go figure.

Lol you got me with the “Pondmaster” and “Portugeezer” 😆. Sweet collection!

It gets a lot less impressive when you take into account the value of the whole collection haha

It´s like going to the casino, you play, enjoy, and loose all your money. No harm done.😎

Lots of interesting pieces there and the names! LMAO.

KUDOS!

Out of all your homages, which one would you actually like to own the original of?

All of them of course if money was no object haha. But honestly let's see now, I've got 22 if we include the work watch, I'll assume that the money I'm spending is one I've worked for. Out of those there are about 7 where I'd really want the original, even if I'd be in financial stress for a couple months, namely:

-Sub no date (or 40mm sea dweller)

-Planet Ocean

-Ploprof

-Pelagos

-Sub600

-GMT master

-Silver Snoopy speedy

There are 10 that I could take or leave:

-Sub Starbucks

-SMP300

-Pelagos 39

-Sub300

-GS diver (except if spring drive)

-Deepsea

-IWC AMG

-Tank

-Portugeiser

-Milgauss (would rather have a 15000 gauss)

And the rest I don't mind having as an homage (especially because working with a Tudor submariner would be equivalent to burning money).

How's the Steel Dive PloProf? Was interest in one but I might just save up for the real Omega PloProf since it's a very serious dive tool

My particular model has a slightly misaligned bezel that makes it so it's always slightly off, and the case could use a little filing on the underside where there are some sharp corners. The shark mesh is a bitch to size correctly but the clasp has about a million micro adjust holes to make it easier. The bezel turns fine, the lume is excellent and everything generally is nicely made. It wears fine but is very wide and heavy. If you can get it during a sale for around 300 or less I'd say it would scratch the itch for a while.
