NFL Head Coaches and Their Watches

Came across this video this morning and found it to be a fun watch. (Ha) Just thought I'd share to my fellow Crunchers! It's interesting to see which coaches want something durable vs which ones want flash. Any NFL fans here? Who's your team? NFL Coaches and Their Love for Watches

Bears fan here. You gotta love Mike McDaniel, the Dolphin’s head coach. He’s one of the few with a sense of humor. Great for the game

I admire your perseverance as a Bears fan these recent years. Hopefully you guys turn it around soon....Maybe Caleb Williams is the answer. Maybe not 🤔 Agreed, gotta love McDaniel! Always fun to see on the tele

Haha. It’s getting to the point with the Bears that either way they go at QB- sticking with Fields or drafting Williams- it’ll be wrong. But I’ll never quit on them. Do you follow a team?

The front office can do no right haha. Fellow Bears fan here! In fact, there’s a small contingent of us here on the Crunch! @ChiefIlliniwek and @Chronologics and I sometimes talk Chicago football, feel free to join the group therapy session if you like lol 😆Bear Down!💪

Most of my blame blame narrows down to the McCaskeys, so yes!

Always ready to hang with fellow Bears masochists,… err fans. Thank you!

Bear Down! Can we go against the forces of the Universe and actually make the right decision on the QB ??? I see it as a coin flip....

I was once a big Giants fan with every day life I have not been keeping track with sports myself.

Ok, WC Bears fans- the draft’s almost over and I feel good about it. Obviously too early to tell, but what say you? (obligatory watch pic)

I think Williams was a no-brainer. You miss 100% of the shots you don’t take. He’s young, he’s a bit brash, maybe cocky… and honestly, in years past I’d probably agree with some of the “he doesn’t fit the ‘Chicago Bear’ profile ie stoic, reserved, respectful… etc” critics. I appreciate all those things for sure, Charles Tillman is one of my all time favorite players and he exemplified those traits. But (provided Williams keeps his nose clean and out of trouble), I think some fun, hyperbolic, swagger and attitude, has been missing from Halas Hall for decades. I’m interested to see what this version of the Bears looks like.

As for the rest of the draft I absolutely love Odunze pick, a complete steal that makes the Bears recieving corp about the most complete in the league imho. I also appreciate the Tory Taylor pick, good punting is part of the field position battle that we had trouble with last year. All those things plus if the D can maintain/improve on last year, it’s about the best possible situation for a rookie QB to step into and should (on paper at least) make them competitive sooner rather than later.

As always, hope springs eternal, but never underestimate the Bears ability to “snatch defeat from the jaws of victory”, as my dad always says haha.

Bring on the circus that will be training camp 😎. 🐻⬇️💪

Couldn’t agree more. Who cares if he doesn’t fit the mold, as long as he can lead the team successfully and keeps his head about him. This team needs some personality like it had in the mid-80s. Getting sick of the traditionalists and others that can’t see past differences

With Odunze now, Moore and Allen, he’s set up very well.

And yes, always the possibility of a derailment, but bring it on! I’m finally excited about the prospects and a new start

Man you guys won that draft. Very excited to see what this team can do. Can't help but feel bad for how they treated J. Fields, but....such as life!

Yeah, I feel the same about Fields, especially when Nagy was HC. Almost like he wanted him to fail
