Casio Travel Watch UPDATE - California Edition - Week 1
The Casio Travel Watch #watchjourney2023 arrived a couple of days ago for a multi week stay in California and other surprise locations.
I opened the box, set the watch to West Coast time (GMT-7), rolled out the red carpet, and off we went.
First stop: Silicon Valley to pay respects to our AI overlords.
Is time a construct?
Then an after work 5k walk/run around Mission Bay in San Francisco, home to the SF Giants and Golden State Warriors.
And a goat sighting - THE 🐐Stephen Curry 🐐
Friday took me on an adventure in Golden Gate Park and the world famous Golden Gate Bridge.

Quick stop up at the Legion of Honor. Currently having an exhibit of The Tudors. This Casio is better 🤣

As you can see in the pictures, this was an uncharacteristically sunny day in The City. Driving in through 19th Ave I couldn’t see the Bridge so I thought I’d be fogged in. It wasn’t warm though.
As Mark Twain said, the coldest winter he ever spent was a summer in San Francisco.

it is a shame, there are 3 or 4 others in and around the USA that are due the watch, then it's heading back to blighty 😕 i should have sent a few out at the same time haha! ✨
