The last full week of the Travel Watch #watchjourney2023 in California meant it was time for a little road trip down to the Disneyland.
Driving through I-5 Grapevine
Double wristing while taking a ride on historical Route 66.
Hanging out with colleagues at Avengers Campus
Pixar Pier at night
Next day started with some wise words from Walt
Catching up with the Main Mouse himself
999 Happy Haunts…with room for 1 more
Day drinking in a wretched hive of scum and villainy
Before piloting the fastest hunk of junk in a galaxy far, far away
Life lessons on a Runaway Railway
Good night Travel Watch. You’ve been a great companion over the last few weeks.
And with that, our time has come to an end. California is a big state with many wonders to behold. It would take a lifetime to explore them all. I hope you have the opportunity to come visit (again). It has been an incredible honor to show you around. Thank you again to @benandwatch.

Wow wow wow thank you so much for all the wonderful photos, some absolutely brilliant ones, I love the hunk of junk, thank you Kevin you have been a superstar 👍🏼⭐️do you want to let the next participant know who they are 😊 hold on folks, you’ll get your turn.
It was fantastic to get away. 22 miles of walking though so my knees, ankle, and feet are not cooperating. 🤣

@Okavango the travel watch will be sent your way today or tomorrow.
Great post and photos. Thanks for sharing. I did the Florida Disney circuit for three consecutive years with friends and family. Good times.
Kevin. Nicely done. I send you many props for surviving Disneyland. I've done that trip many times and I'm glad my kids have grown out of it. (Although I do have my first grandchild now so that will be changing)
Anyways thanks for all the wonderful ventures you sent us on with the watchjourney. Nice work on that also.

Oh man WDW is a whole different animal. The parks are so much bigger AND the weather is…unpredictable. 3 years in a row is amazing.

It was a pleasure and made me think differently about watches and making memories with them.

22 miles?! Dude, sacrifice the next watch for a Segway!

Thank you, this was a short trip so a little more intense than usual. Disney is definitely about making memories with kids/grandkids.
Great pics! Thanks for sharing!

Absolutely. I go with a smile on the outside but not on the inside. 😂It's a lot.

One day I’ll rent those electric scooters for the park…one day, not yet though
I’m headed there now to the Oogie Boogie bash with my Donald Duck.
I have never been to Disney Land! Thanks for sharing the cool photos! 🥳
My wife and I recently went to Disneyland for the first time in quite awhile. I must confess it totally exceeded my expectations and...
... it was a great opportunity to wear our vintage Mickey watches.

The real MVP of the Club
@SpecKTator, is that the watch you showed us at the Topper meetup that @blackbookalpha drew of a picture of for the book that is accompanying it on its journey? Love the Disneyland chronicle, by the way!
Yes that is the one

It’s a long way from you to get out to California. Disney Paris and Disneyworld are much closer to you, though there is a certain magic about the only park that Walt Disney actually worked on.
Take me on your next road trip!!!
Let’s do it, we can meet up for Costa Coffee somewhere 😂
It's a well known fact that Casio built the Tesseract, I think, maybe 🥴

That explains a lot then 🤣

Sounds Good 👌 Thanks 🙏. Love the adventure you took it on in California.
Casio FTW!!

Sure will try to take it on some great adventures that you have.
Awesome photos. The Avengers one in particular looks very similar to something I saw outside of the Uffizi Gallery in 2019. They were celebrating DaVinci and a similar structure was surrounding a tree with a placard of the vitruvian man. Guess Leo was an OG Avenger.

Da Vinci being an Avenger would not have surprised me one bit. He was equal parts Tony Stark and his inventions must have been like the magic of Doctor Strange.
