Homage Watch
Folks,
I've been contemplating getting a Seiko Captain Willard but concerned about fit and comfort on my 6.75" wrist. I heard someone recommend buying an homage watch and try it. If I didn't like it, then I've saved my self over $1,000. So, I got this on Alli11:11 sale for $50 which arrived this week. I must say the feel on the wrist is great. It feels better than my Samurai so I'll probably place the Willard on my future collection.
Anyone else has done this?

Had a Samsung Galaxy which reignited my interest in watches. Set it aside and been collecting mechanical and quartz pieces since.

I kept building Capt. Willard mods and selling them, but I liked them so much I picked up the Addiesdive MY-H8 for $79 and it fills the need well. The bracelet is okay and I switch to it often, but I like to swap straps a lot.

Good deal for $50. This one might actually be slightly bigger in dimensions than the Seiko SPB15x, so if you're happy with this, the Seiko should fit just fine.
I haven't gotten this one, but I have the srp777 which is 45mm, but very comfy. I have tried on Willards and they seem way smaller! They're 42mm, and I think most homages are 43mm. So it should fit even better for you.
I have the rubber strap version but easily one of my favorite watches. Wanted to see if I'd like the fit and now saving up for the original.

Yep. swapping now to a rubber strap to try how that feels.
