I got these recently, both black dialed quartz. Now one is 40mm and one is 38mm and I think this pic just shows that size doesn’t matter unless the style of watch is in question.
There are so many other factors (lug to lug, dial size, lug width, case shape) it's bananas that the community has accepted one measurement as a catch all for sizing.

Late to this thread but wondering what your thoughts on the Fears is as it looks very simple compared to their other watches?
Yeah it is very simple, a no second hand quartz. It’s so simple that it makes it very elegant. I don’t need a dress watch for any more than 5 days a year so it’s spot on for what I need.
