The watch that started it all for me is the Seiko 5 SRPH25.
It was an impulse purchase. I had a love-hate relationship with it for a while because the all-black design looks so out of place with most of my clothes. My watch collecting journey grew from trying to replace this watch! 🤣
Now that I have a few watches, this black Seiko has settled in its place as my daily low-key work watch.
I'm also thinking of getting a gun metal nato strap like yours.

That is quite a gorgeous looking watch in its own right. I hope you dont let that go
One of my favorite watches, a Seiko 5 Sports SRPE77K. Mods include a new day wheel, red second hand, knurled bezel and crown, ceramic bezel insert, and a blue AR sapphire crystal.
I had a Bulova Marine Star. One time someone asked me if it was a Baume et Mercier and I was unaware of who they were. So I did some looking around and discovered a whole world of watches I never knew existed. The rest is history... or debt... mostly debt... who needs utilities anyway when you can have some sweet sweet wrist candy.

Nothing fancy to start with, but this one had most wrist time, have me smiling the most.
This snk381 is quite a charmer. I no longer have mine. Replaced it with the snkl23 which I regreted seriously. I might try to buy one again if I find a bargain.
