New Year’s Resolution: No new watches, just straps and bracelets

I’ve resolved to simply enjoy my collection and look to mix things up with different straps and bracelets this year. With the exception of my dress watch, I’d like a different strap or bracelet for each season for each watch. This should be fun.

I'd imagine that there are many that will sell you vast collections for pennies on the dollar. People tend to buy a whole bunch and use a small minority. Choose sparingly.

Beware strap addiction is very real! It’s a good plan over all though. I think it’s great to slow your self down to enjoy that you already own to save up some money and have a more structured plan when you are ready to add more down the line.

Mix it up is a good thing. I only do custom straps with thought and materials in mind for certain watches. My nephew does all my custom strap work. I love this side of the hobby.
