The"chronometer" on the dial of watch B is a dead giveaway that it is more expensive. While watch A seems nicely lumed on both the hands & indices, you can find examples on Aliexpress for $100. Any certified chronometer is going to cost at least 10X that.
Bought something very similar at Harbor Freight. Multiple magnifications from 1.5X to 11X and LED light with 2 settings. Amazing how much easier battery changing and bracelet adjustment has become.
Bought a Berny compressor style watch from Aliexpress. it was loosely based on the Jaeger Lecoult Polaris, but I wouldn't call it an homage as much as taking inspiration from. Crazy thing is it's my most accurate watch, running less than 1 second per day (time grapher screenshot included).
I think "homage" watches have there place and believe one should wear what looks good to them. For myself, however, would prefer a more original take on a style of watch... not a strict copy.
