Hamilton Khaki Field Titanium 42mm
Been looking hard at this watch after seeing a sage green dial version just after Christmas. Really liked it but ended up getting myself and my wife a matched set of Tissots. But ever since I've been looking hard at this titanium. Lots of reasons, not the least of which is the lighter weight and of course a 42mm that truly fits me wrist better than my daily 39.4mm Seiko 5.
Another reason is a 1938 Hamilton my mother gave me. It was her father's, who I barely knew. With the long History of the brand and the link to that sentimentality, I wanted a Hamilton.
As I intend to make this my daily, I was very interested in light weight, clean dial (no date!), sapphire crystal, and relatively low price (paid $680 after sale and coupon).
So here we are! I posted it yesterday in WRUW but thought a NWA post today would be ok, too.
I really like it!!
I also bought a couple Hamilton NATOs. Not cheap but I like the look! Will post those soon enough.

Thanks! As is typical, it looks bigger on the wrist in pictures than irl. Whatever that effect is called, I don't recall. But even with that effect it's good in pics too.

Looks boss! Enjoy! I’m eyeing the blue titanium version, but experience tells me the anti-reflective on Hamilton is lousy. I’ve struggled with another Khaki… How is that one for AR? 😃

Khakis are very nice.just plain good watch that you can read at a glance and very comfortable with a leather strap. I have the steel with black bezel, the green one look sick. I would try it with a distressed gray leather strap

I actually did see a review video where the guy said the only thing that kept this from being a perfect watch was the reflective crystal. He was not wrong. This sucker is very reflective, unfortunately. But.. it is what it is.

Yeah. My Khaki, which I’m selling, just bugs me too much because of the reflections!

I have the green. Be sure you see the color in person. I didn’t think the green was as nice in person as it is in Hamilton’s photos and videos.
Jealous! That would be on my list if the titanium version wasn’t so high. Also…I must have a date feature on my watches.
