I remember that one time my friend asked about my Orient because he was mesmerized with the watch. He never wore a watch before because watch size nowadays (which is around 38-44mm) doesn't fit him nicely, and he has smaller wrist than mine (around 6 inches i think, mine is 7.5 inches).
One day, i introduced him with the Timex Marlin 34mm re-issue. I think it'll fit him nicely on his wrist since it was small and nothing like it on the market (at least "manly" small watches).
(this Marlin 34mm is on my wrist)
He was interested in that watch. After some times of thinking, he bought it ๐
Well, i guess all i can say is..., mission accomplished ๐
Don't worry, i did tell him how to take care of it too. Since it was his first watch and it was a hand wound mechanical movement ๐ค๐

Good man! That particular watch was a great choice.
It is always fun to bring others into this hobby. I have shared it with a number of people and it is so much fun helping other find a watch.
I like your choice in watches ๐

Especially for the slender-wristed guy out there!

True, to make them purchase perhaps their only watch in their lifetime especially.
