Gone in under 4 minutes
Two of the new 34mm Kuronos (the midnight and persimmon) sold out under 4 minutes (with the midnight going in about 3). As of the writing of this post, the two others which resemble previous retro inspired releases, are still available.

Yeah, I imagine this release is prob best suited for those with a 6.5 inch wrist and below. Lug to lug 41mm which is still small by modern standards but on slimmer wrists should look just fine.
I wish a 34mm looked good on me. lots of vintage rolexes are available in that size for not a whole lot of money.

Different strokes for different folks! But the brand and association with Hajime Asaoka is largely what is driving that price and high demand, which is fine and understandable (and I think honestly fair).
