I cleaned the movement. Then replaced the crystal and female stem. Put a new band on it and it keeps great time. So many of these older watches are not getiing the love they desirve.
I have a 1956 Hamilton Sinclair in my collection. It was my dad's watch. He received it as a trophy for winning a golf club championship. 18K gold case and still has the engraving on the back. It's a very small totally square case at about 25mm, so it looks petite on my 6.75" wrist, but I'd still rock it if I was going to a formal dinner or something.

That Hamilton looks great. Well done👍
Beautiful Hamilton. I wear something that old at least twice a week. We all should.
Spectacular, Hamilton tank watches will never get old.
