Found this watch randomly rumging through a thrift shop. It was for 225EGP but I haggled down to 100EGP (~3.5$). Though it looks cool, I have no clue what is thie brand and why does it have oyster propetual on it. Any assitance in identifying it woule be amazing.

"Chronometer" is a bold claim for a watch with bad printing on the dial.
Is there a rolex that looks like it?
Is there a rolex that looks like it?
in a distant cousin sort of way I suppose…. Please read my answer, and hope all is well
As a Japanese, I can make a guess that this is a made in the People’s Republic of China watch with the name Shunfeng 順風. 順風 means “follow wind”. The other “Rolex” inscriptions probably come from their famous knock-offs. The people “designing” them evidently did not know what “daydate” means. In a way, it’s unique because the “Shunfeng” inscription shows that they have no intensions to have it passed as a “Rolex” or a “fake Rolex” for that matter. A collectors item!! The 100 Egyptian Pounds is just about right for its industrial value, but priceless like a mistakenly printed postage stamp sheet.

The watch looks pretty in a meme-ish way NGL. Me and my friends constantly whisper around it saying its a chinese goverment bug. 😂
