I'm awaiting delivery of a Mido Commander II chrono, one I'd been after for some time. Takes non-standard endlinks - it has 'male lugs'๐ - and I envisaged wearing it on the bracelet, but I bought it assuming that there would be fitted leather or rubber straps available from Mido. However, a fairly good online search has so far yielded diddly squat!. Any owners out there with any info?.๐๐

The bracelet shouldnโt โstretchโ like you see on some older bracelets. A large part of those stretching was do to the links being folded, usually on bracelets that use gold.
I recommend giving the bracelet a good clean with some dish soap, warm water, and a toothbrush every now and then, depending on how much you wear it and how dirty it gets. (Such as being sweaty). And if you do wear it a whole lot, it would be a good idea to take the bracelet to be ultrasonically cleaned at a jewelers maybe once a year?
Idk if it has a spring bar, but if the two flanking links are held by a pin, then youโre married to that bracelet.

Thanks, but I was just wondering about the availability of replacement straps.
