No watch today, and no watches on my left wrist for a while. Hit a pebble while longboarding home from the convenience store last night. Major fracture in my arm, lost the longboard, and most tragically my skx175 I was wearing is nowhere to be found. Going to have a bit of time to look for a new one and reflect on how I'm not as young as I used to be while I'm bedridden

Bugger.

I know this may sound like a dumb question, but did you go back and look for them?

Yeah I did, albeit rather breifly. They both probably ended up in the road and I live on a street with lots of truck and farming equpment traffic. I'm going to try and get a friend to do a more thorough search along the road for me but I'm not too optimistic

Sorry to hear that, hope you end up finding it. 🤞🏻

That sucks friend. But a learning experience we all get to go though at some point. I’ve had my share.

Hope you find the SKX. I know what it’s like. I have a 007 that is in the ocean off Catalina island in the kelp forest. Looked as long as I had air, but I don’t even know when it fell off. Definitely feel you pain in that regard 🤙

Get well soon!

I've been skating for a decade and a half and am quite familiar with the roll-out lol. Unfortunately I got complacent with a bag of snacks and drinks in one hand and my reaction time suffered because of it. I'm just glad I didn't hit my head, given the suddenness with which I came to an unplanned stop.
