No better way to start the new year than with my first post on WatchCrunch with my first ever automatic watch!
This was a gift from my dad back in 2017 and what made it special was the fact that we bought and chose it together at a Seiko Boutique Outlet during my first trip to Japan.
This is the SNZG series field watch japan domestic model version with the “Made in Japan” at the 7 o’clock.
I wore this piece for a good 5 years straight back when I was still not as absorbed into this hobby.
2022 was when it all changed for me.

There is a standard production model SNZG15K1, I believe its still available and in production in various parts of the world.
Classic #seiko with the unstoppable workhorse of a movement. The start of a love affair for many 👌
