What does the group think of Raymond Weil? I remember about 20 years ago this was one of the first brands that started the addiction for me. They seemed to fade away a bit but the new releases over the last few years seem really well done. Curious to hear your thoughts

I’m really happy with my Maestro. You know that feeling when you get a great watch and you want to recommend it to everyone? I still get that feeling with this watch 10 years later.
Like you a few years back I though they were fantastic but then lost something, and started doing copies a little. I have not checked them out for a while, yours is a bit special !
Have only had good experiences with RW and currently have 2 of them in my collection. Am actually wearing my Tango GMT Bob Marley edition today.
My Freelancer Diver is one of my favourites and I find myself gravitating to this anytime I’m undecided about what to wear.
RW is a pretty popular brand in AUS, but I rarely see any on Watch Crunch. Hopefully we see more of them because they are really nicely built.
I have this one. I like the clean classic vintage look to it. I don't get to wear it very often. It's a dressy looking watch and I don't dress up very often. I have never had a problem with it other than finding the right strap for it. I haven't figured out what looks best on it.
Before I took to this hobby my wife bought me this Raymond Weil Tradition 5596. Dressed my wrist up to many gatherings.
From what I've seen RW watches are well made. These are sold in Macy's here in California, if you wait for a sale you can get a really nice watch for a reasonable price.
I recently took a chance on an 'interesting' used RW Parsifal 6000 to replace a broken Bering for use as my beater tool watch for work. I bought it cheap enough as a watch head from the bay of fleas with bent spring bars and no battery or strap.
I'm assuming RW designed it as a funky/modern dress watch - my 'conversion' of it into a tool watch consisted of fitting a decent battery and convenient magnetic rubber strap.
So far I'm very satisfied - it features a sapphire crystal a '50M' WR rating and seems to be well constructed, so should continue to fulfil it's 'tool watch' role for quite a long while.
I am a HUGE Raymond Weil fan. I have 3 of their watches, 2 maestri and a freelancer. Their watches speak volumes to me because I am a classical musician. In fact, I am a freelance conductor so go figure!
