Leather strap ?

This it's a old one from the 50's , I think, usually this kind of watch it's not used with a strap like this, I don't mind and I'm not to fan of the classic crocodile skin, what do you think, would wear?

Looks good to me. Wear what you think is best.

If you want a professional take on straps, there’s a couple of strap makers here on WC who would be happy to provide an opinion.

That is a beautiful watch. I think the strap on it looks perfect, gives it that classic look that I love so much

The leather seems a little distressed for my tastes. I'd want something with a tad of luster for such a watch.

One could do much worse. I hate those stupid "two stitch" or "vintage" bands that look like they were tacked together with dental floss by kids at summer camp.

While it looks beautiful as is I'd shine it up and put a new strap or bracelet it on and it would really pop, I love 2 dial chronographs

What a great watch! I think that a brown strap would look good. I get my straps from TUNS Leather out of Vietnam. They make proper straps at surprisingly low cost. Go to their own site to save a bit of dosh.

I have to say again that I think that’s an absolute treasure you have. 😃

Suits it well.
