I've always liked the Chandler, but I couldn't justify buying another field watch with a black dial. I stumbled across this in a second hand shop, box and papers for £45. I wasn't sure if it was a fake at first, but a friendly user on here told me it might be part of the Japanese Domestic Market models - and it is (I think). It's exactly the same as the black dial Chandler, but with a cream dial - and I love it!

Nice and clean, very legible…I love it!!
Lucky find, the watch looks great.
Great pick up! I love those Chandlers.
Just out of curiosity does it have Japanese days on the day wheel?

Huh, no actually, it's Spanish like a lot of my other watches... so not sure if that means it's not a JDM market model... or maybe it's that way to tailor to the mass market?
Does it have any lume, or is the whole dial lumed, I have the black dial version and the lume is incredibly good.

Tbh, I bought it hoping the whole dial was lumed. It isn't. In fact, it doesn't have very good lume at all really, margin on hands and indices etc.
Still a gorgeous looking time piece
