A watch to celebrate a marathon?

Hey everyone, so I plan on completing my very first marathon in April and was maybe thinking about buying a watch to commemorate it. It doesn't have to be expensive or particularly fancy - just something fitting. Perhaps something with running or sports in its past... Does anybody have any ideas/suggestions? Suggestions can include, but don't have to be limited to, the "Marathon" brand haha. Thank you in advance!

The Mille Miglia. Designed for the thousand mile race in Italy. I’m sure training for and completing the marathon feels like you’ve run a thousand miles !

What about a good old moonswatch? it’s fun, a Chronograph, and you can even use it to time your next run.

is it London marathon you are doing?

The Moonswatch doesn't do much for me, unfortunately. Maybe because I owned a Speedy a while back and just couldn't fall in love with it. And it's Manchester marathon :)

Good luck! I’ve done a half in Manchester - was spectacular! Ive done four full marathons and had the time of my life.

Just cos it’s watch related I’ll say this - I used the Apple Watch Ultra for London in October - and it was a phenomenal marathon watch. Epic battery and great big screen for stats and keeping up to date with the location of spectators.

Thanks for the words of encouragement :) I can't wait! I've got a solid Garmin watch I've been using for the last year, it's great. I'm tempted to double wrist it and wear my g shock too haha

I’m experimenting with using just a g shock for running. Not sure yet! I think for training it’s ok - but on the day an Apple Watch is just so handy!

I was thinking something gold - like a medal. But price wise - what about a bronze. Shines like gold and still an Olympic medal material.

The new Christopher Ward C65 Dune in Bronze is pretty epic.

I would wear this…

That way, when my heart stops during the run - probably quarter mile in - the watch can alert the paramedics to come do CPR.

One of the many G-Shocks that track steps come to mind.
