New watch alert!

Ordered. Turning 40 this year so wanted to celebrate it with buying a new watch. (I know, any excuse)

This new release from Duckworth Prestex stood out to me for a number of reasons. 1. It's release is to celebrate the Kings Coronation. 2. Salmon dial. 3. Case design and dial layout and 4. "England" on the dial! Come on, how cool is that!

What watches have you all got in mind for 2023 and why??

Cheers

Brad

I tried on the Verimatic version of this last week. Felt good dimensions and well made for the price:

Beautiful watch @Realwatchclub. And congratulations for turning 40 this year. 🍻

Timex, Bulova and Orient are on my list this year. Oh who am I kidding, I have a bunch on the list for absolutely no reason whatsoever other than filling my collection with eye candy and shiny things. 😂 There's nothing special about turning 59. Maybe next year I'll splurge on a 💸 watch when I turn 60.

Excellent watch! Congrats on the pickup for your birthday.

Yup, love that coronation salmon. Nice one.

Love the look of this. Has a bit of King Seiko about it.

Hi mate,

Thanks for the link and review! I'm a Londoner born and raised and I've never noticed that little shop! Also a Carpenter who's worked up and down the city for the past 24 years!! Every days a school day! Thanks for sharing the wrist shots also, my wrist is just a bit over yours so I'm glad it will wear well!

Cheers

It’s easy to miss - only open on weekdays, prob between 9:30 and 5. When it’s closed, the shutters down with graffiti on them make it look like it’s gone out of business!

I hope you love the coronation watch when it comes!

Looks great, but isn't the dial in the picture misaligned? Looks like it is slightly rotated clockwise. Might be the perspective.

nice watch and happy birthday! :)

Well spotted!

This is just a rendering at the minute so the real one will be great I'm sure!

Congratulations! My 40 years old watch last year was the Lorier Zephyr Crimson. This year, my targets are the Lorier Falcon 3 as the 40 years gift from my parents (was not available last fall and they are still awaiting a shipment for May) and I would love a Lorier Hydra 3 if it ever comes out (though I might settle on a Neptune). Out of Lorier, perhaps an Islander diver and a Casio Mission Impossible.

Congrats on 40. I’m in the same position and using it and a couple other things as an excuse.
