I have been on the lookout for a nice Eagle 7 for a while now and I spotted this one in a bunch of tat and got a bargain. It was disappointing on arrival as it was missing the case back and the balance spring was goosed. I found a suitable scrapper watch in Holland and fitted the replacement parts.
Added a new crystal and a nice bit of leather (the original gold coloured bracelet was just the wrong side of a good fit with no further adjustment left). Regulated it to within 5 seconds a day and am really pleased with the results.

A lovely Eagle 7 and a great find! In my opinion every bit as interesting as the much more popular seiko 5.
I have a white dial one.

I have a white dial one.
I was looking for one like yours but now I'm happy with the black and gold look.
As for the Seiko 5, this is what I took of my wrist to wear the Citizen

I bought this from my mate Gareth @GasWorks in this forum. He is always restoring them and similar!
Nice job on the Citizen. I've done a couple of black dial 7s... I managed to source really nice crystals from a jewellers in Malta...

They are an attractive watch aren't they. Black and gold is a classic colour combo.
Tell me more about these crystals I'm intrigued
