1965-72 18kt Tissot Stylist mechanical Cal.791
Just received this 18kt gold plated vintage Tissot Stylist, and fitted a new brown leather croc embossed strap with yellow gold buckle.
The watch is in reasonable condition, and will probably benefit from a good polish to bring it up to standard.
The mechanical movement is a Swiss caliber 791, and seems to be holding very good time over the last 24hrs, so that's a bonus.
It measures 32mm excluding crown, and weighs in at a paltry 34g, so you almost forget you're even wearing it on the wrist.
It is very slim at around 9mm in height, including the exquisitely domed crystal, and I'm sure it will just glide up and down pas a shirt cuff without hesitation.
Does anyone have any further information on the Caliber 791 movement, or indeed in this particular vintage Tissot wristwatch, I'd be interested to hear opinions 👍.
