I've bought a vintage watch as a wedding anniversary present for my wife this year. Its an Omega De Ville manual wind in 14k gold with a Cal.625 movement.
I'm still unsure if she'll appreciate it for what it is, or be pissed off that it's not brand new 🤔.
I bought if from a vintage watch store and got it polished up, fitted a new genuine omega strap and found a beautiful genuine presentation box for it to go in.
Was racking my brains what to buy her, and thought I'd spread the love for an elegant and timeless classic dress watch.
Hope she appreciates the effort I've gone to, and trying to introduce her to having a nice watch collection of her own.
