I've worn watches my whole life, even wearing one watch on each wrist during middle school (and all the male adults told me what I was doing was odd/weird). I convinced my dad to buy a gold presidential Rolex (for himself, not for me) back in the '80s. I think I remember the cost ($10k) was the same as one year's worth of private high school tuition in Taipei. I remember hearing that bracelet rattle while he was driving. My mom bought me a dainty Bulova quartz for my high school graduation, and I regret donating it. I am a life-long watch enthusiast without collecting much. I've worn the same pre-owned 31mm Rolex Datejust every day for 13 years now. I love moon phase watches & chronographs, but do not own any.
