Hi crunchers , my intro is short , so I will try to extend on the mess in my head.  I refound my love for watches when i put a nato on my old Victorinox. I had a Casio thingy , very basic and wrong size on it for a long while... Went crazy and bought 6 watches in as many month , Timex ( gave it away) Gshock casioak ( gave it away) , Citizen eco drive ( I want to give it away) update: gave it away. Tissot , I like it but the bezel doesn t rotate and kind of a turn off update: I really like this watch. I bought a Victorinox and the exterior lume dissapeared in a week. Take into account I live in Argentina and retail is x2 in dollars compared to you guys. I had the Victorinox brought from a friend from the US, that kind of stuff I have to deal with. I can' t really get the watches easy so I don t want mess up anymore. I have two gold mecanical watches I don t know what to do with. Especially the 1968 constelation I use once a year, and afraid to wind up. What am I saying is I really only want one more watch , a definite watch , one I struggle not to use. I would love it to be like a friend watch but a touch fancier ,all metal , black dial , Sapphire, 100m , under 100grs , Swiss or maybe seiko. Please shoot away with opinions and what not. Thanks!!

Update : The more I use a watch the more I like it. I think it is about using not buying.

#welcome to the crunch. It is a nice collection. You should look into Hamilton Khaki king which is a good field watch or any of the Seiko either a diver or everyday wearer

Hi , thanks , I had a look because i do like Hamilton but didn t like how the day sits on the watch. I have an old Victorinox , it is simply perfect as a field watch .SEIKO 5 is at 140 grams to heavy for my taste. Prices are x2 in Argentina, I Will wait for a trip to find a lighter/perfect Seiko, maybe alpinist. Today I received a metal Gshock , paíd like $275 vs $180 US price.

I have the #seiko alpinist and it’s a great looking watch.. however it more like $700+. When you plan a vacation to US you should keep huge fund to buy all the watches you want 😉. I love G-shocks but haven’t added any to my collection yet. I have a #casio pathfinder and meets all digital watch criteria and then some. It’s my beater watch that has gone to many adventures with me. Good luck with your collection journey and enjoy your newest addition.
