Doctors advice.

I remember posting a while back about weight on here without much attention . I think my body was telling me something.

If You are using your cel in your left hand with some plastic protection and a tipical automatic watch on a metal band , lets Say seiko5 for the fan boys. You are packing close to half a kilo( 16 ounces) . That goes with constant twisting from back of hand to palm of hand ( to use cell or look at watch) . At 56 and a lifetime of extreme sports and falls my articulations are quite f up. Doctor said , you are twisting half a kilo several hours per day. Tendinitis unavoidable! I know I know should of used voice features.

Moral , i retired , use cell on flat surfaces with right hand or voice. Never ever buying a watch over 100 grams. It only tales two month tendinitis to really understand that . The Citizen orca helped also 😅.

I Will be traveling to Mexico with my three lightest watches , a quartz basic Tissot, a very very thin and light Victorinox oficial from the 90s (56 grams) that got me into getting more watches . Don't know why i got others at this point, all i had to do is get bands for it. Finally , for diving i will oil up My Casio duro my lightest dive watch. Should be good for 16000 feet , (never been deeper than 40m). You guys do know Casio broke the diving record with 16000 feet with a $15 model ?

Just saw the Casio record. That was wild! Hope your hand gets better. Have fun diving (send some underwater wristshots if you bring a dive cam). Cheers!

As someone who's suffered with tendinitis you've got my full sympathy. Hope you enjoy your well deserved Mexican trip, and thanks for the cool casio info.

Thank you for sharing your experience and your conclusions ❤️

·

You have my sympathies. Twice this year I had to take 2 weeks off heavy watches because of sever lest wrist pain.

·

Glad u retired at an early age, congrats on that!

Everything hurts so badly now, if my watches make it any worse I've yet to notice......
