I’ve been meaning to post my SOTC for a while now! These are my current main 7 watches (excluding my Casios which can be another post alone and a couple gifted watches). I think they complement each other well and can be used for many different occasions. From fine dining with the wife to bumming it on a beach. That’s the goal for my collection. I’m pretty happy with it for now.
I have worn a watch on my wrist ever since I could remember. It was mostly Casios and I didn’t think twice about wearing them 24/7. My dad gave me his Citizen Quartz in High School as he thought I needed a ‘Nice watch’. It’s my most treasured watch and I still wear it when hanging out with him.
Still on the horizon is obtaining my grail - The Omega Speedmaster Professional (The Pagani is holding its place for now)! I’d also like to move to higher end Swiss watches and get myself a Longines GMT or Tudor GMT. I don’t want to spend the coin at the moment as I’m satisfied with what I got. Rather than buying and selling, I’m thinking of focusing on my strap game for the foreseeable future. Wish me luck! Ha!

I can’t say I’m too familiar with Borealis but that’s a neat dial

I’m a fan of the Rolex Explorer and the GS Snowflake ❄️. This works for me! It originally comes on a jubilee bracelet. Borealis is a microbrand based out of Lisbon, Portugal 🇵🇹.
That's a great looking pagani design homage. How was your experience been? Cos I've heard quite a bit of bad reviews online on the brand
Straps are far more interesting than watches. 👍
What a well balanced collection you have there, a bit of everything. As a Portuguese, need to send particular kudos for not only the Borealis but also the nifty Tissot Lisboa!
Nice going!

Good experience so far! The Seiko mechaquartz movement in it keeps good time and the pushers have a satisfying audible click. I got lucky with the screw down crown as it’s smooth. The newest version has white hands and markers which improve its legibility. I got it on the canvas strap since I read the bracelet was not good - sharp edges and poor finish. I switched it out anyways to the Forstner Komfit with ‘devil horns’. The lume is not too good though.

Thanks! I took the Borealis with me on my first trip to Portugal! The Tissot ‘Lisboa’ is a manual wind reissue of a 1930s model. It’s a limited Edition with 9999 manufactured pieces (which doesn’t sound too limited ha!). I think it’s from 1998, so not quite vintage yet. I put it on a shell cordovan strap from Delugs and was able to source an authentic Cartier buckle which looks great.

They can completely change the look of a watch. Sometimes feels like a brand new watch altogether!
That Citizen is stunning
