Do you have an "ordinary" watch in your collection that seems to keep remarkable time?
I'm not talking about a Bulova Precisionist or other type of watch that is designed for super accuracy. We know and expect them to do that.
For me, it's this simple Seiko 5Y23. It's always bang on with the time, just a fantastic timekeeper! I don't know why, it's just an ordinary watch.
Other quartz watches in my collection can be as much as 20 seconds off in a month, but not this Seiko.
Anyone else have one of these watches that's supposed to keep "average" quartz time but somehow defies the norm and is really accurate? I think a lot of us have one. Post it!
If you have a mechanical watch that falls into this category of greatness, please share it too!
Sometimes we just get a good one, right? 👍
Cheers! 🍻

ADDED, NEXT DAY: I just remembered I have another watch that's amazingly accurate, and that's my PD Speedy homage with its VK63:

Several of mine seem to keep time very well. One that surprised me is the Chronomaster. It’s just a normal Sellita SW510 but it’s usually within +1 to +3 a day. I haven’t experimented with different resting positions, though. Usually just face up. Still, I find it impressive.
My Baltic Tourer has been a huge surprise, with its basic Miyota 9039 : it’s making something like +2s/day and is quite indifferent of my activity (sport, manual work or normal).
I completed a 90-day Accuracy Challenge for all my quartz watches last January, and here are the results:

My San Martin with a NH34 is accurate to 1 second when measured face down.
That would be my sugess top chronometer, I was skeptical at first with it being my first Chinese watch but every time I wear it or put it in my winder it keeps such perfect time every time and I can't get over it

I didn't re-read that post, just going by memory here, but I believe it was your Columbia, am I right?
(I need to test my memory at times as I age.)

Is that a Seiko quartz movement?
My Casio duro. I use it to tune my mechanical watches... 😁
Is that a Seiko quartz movement?
I think it is.
