I do not agree for I know a lot of people who bought it as just the tool watch they take it for. I do understand disagreement and even discussions trying to resolve them. However, I do not understand people who go into childish and nasty offences pure out of irrational emotions. It's probably the environment you live in but in mine we have a modicum of decorum that prohibits just that.
The fact that you can "sic" a word my editor automatically wrote down is not the prove of superior intelligence that you think to poses. Your immature attack on non-existent grammar mistakes unmasks you as illiterate and conflict driven. I may be wrong but I presume you're from the US. That would explain your instant polarising snarky-ness.
You can feel whatever you like about Rolex but not everyone will agree with you. Even your definition of a luxury product, being that because it's expensive and sold at a jeweler, is not true for everyone. Your bizarre and utterly unnecessary cynical respons makes clear you are a fanboy that doesn't tolerate someone making fun of his god-tier watch. Rolex is very good at marketing and influencing. You're a fitting example of a possible result. The rest of your pathetic responses seal the case.
I wish you well with your Rolex and do yourself a favour and put me on ignore. If you want an honest and mature discussion, I'm all yours.
It's a tool watch which is a workman's watch. I can't make it different for fanboys who see mysticism that isn't there. Make a poll and find out. Don't attack me on well-established and accepted truth's. This is not that kind of forum.
