You have a great example of one of my favorite Soviet era watches. I searched for one for about a year before the fever passed. I knew the condition that I wanted and the price and could not get those factors to converge.
I will leave a comment here about watch design. Every once in the while you see something original that doesn't merely vary what came before. This was an everyman's watch with a durable movement and an original design. Just when you thought that you had seen it all through the end of the 1970's with different indices, dials, and cases a watchmaker with very little cache outside of certain markets dropped an all-time classic. It was a simple monochromatic printed dial, but done in a way that hadn't been seen. Who today is capable of such originality?

No not really. I've seen a few of their videos but didn't care for their content much. I first came across these when I started going down the Russian watch rabbit hole on eBay. I saw them more and more so I did a bit of research on it and decided to get one.
I like your strap choice! I have mine on the standard black, but given it’s monochromatic it could be more of a strap monster than I give it credit for.

It really is a really cool watch. I very much appreciate how Sovjet watches were made for the common citizen.

I agree , it's beautiful. I really like it.
Let me guess? Fan of Two Broke Watchsnobs?
When you really, really need to tell the time even if you strap a bottle of vodka on each eye. Would love a remake of that dial.

There is a modern reissue of this dial by Raketa. You can buy it on eBay. It's a bit pricey though.
