What is a good watch?
Ok so I got this one this morning, i wanted a Atwok however that’s not an option right now! I shaw this and just wanted to “ scratch a itch “ so to speak! Which got me thinking……what is a good watch ( to you )??? for me this particular one is just an indulgence. It’s very cheap, it’s not particularly accurate or strong ( feels more like a toy ) however, I am very pleased with it ( for the moment anyway) so what is it about a Watch that takes your fancy accuracy, esthetic looks, price point or or just simply scratches an itch???🤔🤔🤔

For me it's all of those depending on which of my watches I'm talking about. I buy watches for many reasons,but mainly because I just like that particular one

Once I was contemplating the same question but with regards to bicycles. It’s a similar issue - different riding styles, different esthetics and quality considerations.
The only smart (?) answer I’ve managed to come up with is “the one you enjoy using the most“. Some may argue saying there are some objective criteria, but I most instances I see them more as price point related differences.
You have a watch, you wear it and enjoy it over other watches - it’s a good one. At least for you. The rest doesn’t matter.
For me it’s style and complications, because if it’s just to tell the time my fridge can do that too :-)

Without the bestwin branding I would like one, reminds me of the first aerodynamic cars in the 50’s.

It has solid specs like sapphire crystal and a Miyota movement, but definitely not practical and certainly in the cool novelty camp. I bought it on an impulse because it made me think of some of the crazy MB&F stuff I love.

No sorry, tried but it’s stuck on there pretty good. However I looked at their collection and they have a few without that large label of the brand on them!

Looking at it ive seem this on ali express and it looks really cool. Is it easy enough to read the tome? Im assuming its a rotating disk for the “hour hand”?

It’s really not bad. Not exactly “at a glance” legible though, so does take some getting used to. The “H” indicator at the bottom shows the hour, and the pointer in the center works just like a normal minutes hand. Also, that little tri-armed thing in the center spins with the seconds, no track to line it up with though, so it’s more of a cool bit of motion to show the watch is running.
