New Seamaster bond 60th anniversary thoughts?
What are your thoughts on this, I love the look of the dial especially the original wave pattern, but for me the new Seamaster is too big (a chunky 42mm) and the clasp on this strap is too bulky.

I love how they brought back the old wave dial. I respect that they don't have red font to mirror the original Brosnan blue rather than the Casino Royale one through current day. I think the lumed 60 vice a pip is a cool nod to the 60th anniversary. Not sure why they chose a lollipop secons hand reminiscent of the Spectre and the latest 300s, I think they should have kept the original second hand. Wish they had a date, I'm a big stickler for dates on tool watches. I think the case back is cool and liked how they kept all the Bond stuff off the dial and only on the case back.
No date SMP300? always cool. My issue is the back is too much for me. Then again, no one will see it, but one could still get this same look for less.
I dont mind subtle hints of movie branding, but there is a lot going on with this. Exception made for Snoopy. :-)
My first response to every SMP is that they should remove the He escape valve. Knowing that it is an iconic feature of the design, and that it can’t be removed, they should slim it down.
With that out of the way, the 007 on the back reminds me of a toy I got out of a cereal box when I was a lad.
I like it but wish it had a ceramic bezel
