Seiko SNKP21J1 42mm (Arabic Dial) Mods

I’m excited to share the results of my first #seiko #modding project with the WC community.

Well, technically not “my” mod project - I hired Simon at SVK Watches to help me (https://svkwatches.ae/). Simon did an amazing job!

Simon started with a #seiko5 SNKP21J1 42mm #arabicdial watch, and the made the following upgrades:

  • Replaced the #7s26 movement with an #nh36 movement, which enhances accuracy while adding hacking and hand winding.

  • Replaced the #mineralcrystal with a #doubledomed #sapphire crystal.

  • Replaced the OEM hands with #mercedeshands with a red tipped seconds hand.

  • Replaced the white day and date wheels with black OEM day and dates wheels.

Thanks! I think the black day and date wheels, the sapphire crystal, and the red tip on the Mercedes hands come together nicely.
