SW200 or ETA sourcing ?
Has anyone tried the Aliexpress SW200 movements? They claim to have authentic swiss movements and their clones. I don't trust Aliexpress much. Perrin has only the ETA2824-2 but I thought ETA didn't sell to outside Swatch group. I'm looking for a SW200. I want to build an expensive watch as anytime i wanted something expensive I had to make it. I used to make my own white knuckle rides and built a house boat when they want 50k for a basic one. True wealth is about the journey not the destination for me.

I can not confirm this, despite trying to do so, but I have heard that some of those movements are Swiss design but Chinese manufacture. Sort of like the Sea Gull ST19, but with less transparency. As I said, I don't know if it is true or not.
