This is the 1st rendition of my watch winder. cost around 60 bucks except for the timer. just gotta check rpm's and adjust the timer to 500 rpm to start with.

sorry should be 500 revolutions per day but the orientation i have there is wrong
I guess it has to be a bit under 45 degrees from the horizontal? I always assumed I'd use a lamp (aka Xmas tree) timer were I to do such a thing.
