The original Ben Sherman watch

I think I got this watch in the late 90s I just liked the look of it never wore it a lot been in a draw for years.

Just put a new battery in it and it’s keeping good time

Nice. Quite a chore to figure out where the hour hands will go...*shrugs* 

You might want to get a new strap, though. The bottom one has some tearing on the left side. You can see the spring bar peeking out there.

Cool case/bezel shape. 

I could do without the giant Ben Sherman on the bezel and the dial layout is off-putting to me. 

If the bezel rotates, that's fun.

I swear there is a term in the vintage pocket watch world for dials where every minute has a numerical index mark like this. If anyone knows what it is, say so.

I guess you have to do some division by five to be sure of the hour if not great at guessing angles.

The crown looks totally smooth? And what I assume is the original band is sadly showing some wear and a tear. What is this, about 38mm?

I know the strap has had its day it is the original one, watch stays in a display cabinet now

yes about the band the watch is a 35mm so small to todays standards as for telling the time it’s a bit hard sometimes but I still like it
