Reservoir watches - I love a good gimmick!
Paitently waiting for these to become available. Currently no video of the movement/mechanism operating exists that I have found.
I love this brand (not affiliated), I've been accused before of loving a good gimmick. The jumping hands in their watches tick this box for me - It's endlessly fun watching the jump hour mechanism activate on their other models.
Pictured is the new sonomaster - allegedly the chronograph and date dials have snap back functions that instantaneously jump back once they reach the end of the 31 day or 30-second marks.
This model is based on the dial of an old radio amplifier, mirroring their other models based on submarine dials and car speed gauges.
I'd love to hear your thoughts. A horror story? A fun original design? Either way, I'm tempted to save up and get one to fill my next slot in the collection - a luxury chronograph (sorry omega, you're not getting my £££!)
Lover of simple/military/flieger/German watches, & of course G-Shocks.
It would be on my list if I was in the market for a new Chrono, for sure.

I love the name Sonomaster in Portuguese can be translated to sleepmaster.
Wow! That looks absolutely awesome! I love jump complications! The only problem is you spend all day doing this, and forget to eat, drink water, sleep...
I assume the left hemisphere is running seconds? Funny they mark every 4 seconds. Even more amusing is that on the date "meter" they mark the first week in red 🤔
