SNXS Sapphire Crystal Upgrade
Did another upgrade on the SNXS79 (black dial.) After the slimmer closed case back, now it’s got a double dome AR coated sapphire crystal.
Difference is subtle, but domed crystal produces smaller reflected images and gives dial a sense of greater depth. (Tried to capture in an animated image)
May be subtle but definitly ups the quality of appearance. Another successful experiment!

I have bracelets on the way: an AliExpress and an Uncle Seiko, to compare. I’ve considered the movement upgrade, but realized the small crown could be hard to wind. As long as it’s running well I’m not sure it’s necessary. And if it isn’t running well, I can do a bit of regulation.
