TBF, my way to appreciating the aesthetics of digital watches has been long. And I'm still not there when it comes to Ironmen. But this one... it looks mean.

It's definitely not for everyone, and this one has taken some abuse over the years. I remember how cool it looked to me as a kid, though. It still remains my most legible (and loudest) digital. I wish they would still use this display layout on the new ones.

You are ready foe what ever task comes your way Lawrence!
A classic beast 🍸😎
I remember that one well. I wore the markings off nearly all of it then Velcro’d it to an R/C transmitter so I had a timer handy.
Let's go for some running 🤗
everybody begged their parents to get them this when i was growing up. my parents got me a Casio W-50U worldtime instead.
Sounds like you need some of Scotland's other national drink

Did you fly R/C planes, or were you timing laps on the track?

Yeah, I remember seeing it in the Christmas catalog, thinking it was so cool. Do you still have the Casio? If not, I bet you wish you did.

Is that like Scottish Red Bull?

sadly i do not have the original watch, but picked up the exact same model maybe 10 years ago.
You are truly an Iron Man Lawrence 💪

Planes. In the early days of practical electric models (NiMH and early LiPo batteries), it was nice to know flight time in a charge.
Love the battle scars of this watch - Wabi Sabi, right?

Makes sense, you wouldn't want that expensive little thing to drop out of the sky. 😂

Oh yeah, I Wabi Sabied the heck outta this thing!
Just kidding! 😂 Thanks, Trevor. I've had this one since grade school. It took a lot of abuse on the recess yard.
Now this takes me back!
