30 Bucks.

With 2970 $/€ you can enjoy a great vacation.

But if you are looking for a serious mechanical watch with perpetual calendar, it is impossible.

The cheapest is offered by Frederique Constant. If you are lucky you can find fir little over 6K.

But most starts from 10 K and way over.

But don't need to be sad.

There are alternatives.

Not perpetual but (awesome) full calendar watches.

There are three I can introduce which uses the same ETA- DNA.

Longines Master

Fuöl Calendar and Chronograph

Union Glashütte

Dürrstein Collection

Also Full Calendar. But I guess no Chronograph....but I'm not 100% sure.

Limes Pharo Chronograph Vollkalender ( Full Calendar)

May be one of the the best price value in it's kind.

Limes is german brand located in the traditional gems and watch industry city of Pforzheim. It's a subsidiary of the Ickler company. An important, traditional and high sofisticated producer of watch parts for the Industry. Some of the watchparts from many popular watches are produced by Ickler. But the clmpany is less promoted, same as their watches. So the company Ickler uses the movement is based on the ETA 7751, same as the Longines master above. But almost everything else is self manufactured. The case, the bracelet. Even the thermal blued hands. And the movement is a decorated beauty for 1K less than the Longines master.

But with almost 3K right within your price range

Junghans Force, Milano or Spektrum Mega Solar models meet all of your requirements.... technically (in that the digital display which is usually a (big) date can also show the power reserve... in a way).

An Apple Watch Ultra, or Gshock is the winner here. As mentioned, an affordable (mechanical) perpetual calendar starts in close to $10k. Lots of calendars and quartz watches that fit the bill, but it’s a tough (impossible) ask for a functioning mechanical perpetual at that price point.

which one you got broken?

Talking to a good watchmaker he says all of them will act up. They either misalign or one wheel turns and the other doesn't. It is juat asking alot from a mechanical watch but they sure look nice when they work. Now an anual calendar is a different thing I have a Zenith annual and I keep it and my Omega Annual on winders and they work just fine. I just stay away from the 'big date' versions. JMO
