On my wrist 2021
Hi all, This Tudor got the most amount of wrist time in 2021. I bought it used at an auction. After having it for a few days it turned out it had the jumping date issue. After some internal debate I eventually decided to get it fixed. Took it to the local AD and got the work done under warranty. No fuss. No issues. But took some time.
As a GMT its a bit bulky perhaps. But thats really the only negative I have to say so far.

Great looking watch. The hand combination (shapes) from Tudor are possibly my favorite. I am looking forward to own a Pelagos one day in the future..

As an owner of rolex watches (only a handful), and availability aside, would it be outrageous for me to say that i like watches from tudor way more than those from rolex for the past decade or so?
As you mentioned, quite possibly the only weakness is its thickness, i recall putting it on my pewny wrist and it just doesnt work, yet the rest of it just so charming, tasteful, purpose driven. Something that seems rolex lost in the recent models imho.

I agree. It seems Tudor is being allowed to innovate and push new models. Whilst Rolex is playing around with a millimeter here and there, plus new precious metals. But I get it. The Rolex company must be rolling in cash, so they dont want to rock the boat.
I tried on the GMT at the AD and it's amazing almost bought it on the spot. I heard that it will become more sought after this year. Really nice buy, hopefully you also got a really good deal. For some reason I feel the $4.4k retail is maybe a bit high....
