What aspect of a Watch is most important to you

I thought this would be a fun poll to see what everyone’s take on the biggest attraction to a watch. I often go back-and-forth on this myself, but I think these are the four most likely key elements that we all tend to look at when deciding on buying a new watch.

Most people won't admit that status is part of their buying decision, the first rule of status games is the same as the first rule of Fight Club...

Wow. So no Rolex fans have voted yet?😂😂😂

This is true.

I imagine most collectors will have a blended response that varies watch to watch and from era to era. Rarely is there a singular reason that we choose what we choose and that's often what makes processing possibilities so compelling.

The older I get the less important it is for me to have others approve of any aspect of my life let alone something as trivial as watches.

I'd be honestly surprised if someone attributed building an entire collection to a singular most important reason with perhaps the exception being boredom.

All of the above.

It all matters, but if it ain't got the looks, nothing else matters.

It could be the most bonkers spec'd out watch with as many complications stuffed into a 2 cubic inch space as you could manage & made of gold, but if it don't like the look, it's flatter than last nights left out beer.

Aesthetics always first, accuracy it's the last thing I'm worried about ..... that's why its so difficult to be interested in buying a new watch.

Have you ever had poutine? If you haven't, let me explain. Ok? Hear me out. Alright... French fries, gravy and cheese curds. It's a staple in Quebec. The perfect hangover cure for all nightclub goers. A rite of passage into adulthood. The pride and joy of the Belle Province.

Can also be modified to accommodate smoked meat, sausages or spaghetti sauce. Can be had for breakfast, lunch and dinner depending on the accoutrements. It's f*cking delicious.

Have had it, in of all places, an oyster house in Florida. Delicious is an understatement.

An oyster House in Florida? That's an interesting place to have a poutine. The fries and the sauce play a big role in the end result. If their fries are good and the gravy is on point, they can't mess it up.
